About The Position

Capital City Club is seeking a polished, service-oriented, and highly organized Racquets Merchandising and Operations Manager to support the daily success of our racquets retail operation and member experience. Position Summary The Racquets Merchandising and Operations Manager oversees the tennis shop retail environment, merchandising strategy, and day-to-day operations, supports racquets programming, and delivers exceptional member experience. This role works closely with both the Director of Retail and the Director of Racquet Sports to ensure the shop operates efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with club standards

Requirements

  • Retail merchandising or specialty retail experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with POS and inventory management systems
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and club events as needed
  • Knowledge of racquets sports retail preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the tennis shop’s merchandising, inventory, and daily operations
  • Supports racquets programming and helps deliver exceptional member experience
  • Works closely with the Director of Retail and Director of Racquet Sports
  • Manages product presentation, ordering, inventory control, and special orders
  • Tracks sales performance and supports promotions and merchandising initiatives
  • Provides personalized service, product recommendations, and purchase assistance to members
  • Ensures the shop remains organized, polished, and aligned with club standards
