Radiation Safety Officer
About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking a first shift Radiation Safety Officer (RSO). The RSO is responsible for providing direction and support for the facility’s radiation safety program, along with general Health & Safety (H&S) support for assigned operations. This role provides guidance to management and direction to personnel on implementing Health & Safety programs. The RSO will promote continuous safety improvement and serve as the key radiation safety technical expert for the company. This position will also support broader H&S initiatives including safety audits and inspections, record keeping, industrial hygiene monitoring, equipment inspections, safety performance tracking and reporting, training, incident investigations, and program development.
Responsibilities
- Providing direction and support for the facility’s radiation safety program
- General Health & Safety (H&S) support for assigned operations
- Provide guidance to management and direction to personnel on implementing Health & Safety programs
