Find your future with us. Boeing is currently seeking a Radio Communications Systems Technician to join the Radio Services Team in Everett, WA . Position Responsibilities: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair analog/digital RF (Radio Frequency) communications systems Perform necessary functions on hand-held, base, and mobile communication systems that operate in frequency ranges from HF (High Frequency) to UHF Ultra High Frequency) and at power levels up to five hundred watts of output Ensure that the communication systems meet FCC (Federal Communication Commission) standards Maintain logbooks on all equipment Travel to remote sites and perform antenna maintenance using man lifts and cherry-pickers Provide training to business partners on all radio equipment This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options . This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requirements
- Must hold their current FCC General Radio-telephone Operator License (GROL)
- Knowledge of digital electronics, microprocessors, serial/parallel bus transmission systems, high frequency circuitry, and analog fundamentals
- Experience in performance of calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of Measurement and Test Equipment including RF and microwave measurement and Test Equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
- To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
