About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma and at least one-year of experience with persons with developmental disabilities
  • Communication Proficiency

  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and type in English
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift, push, pull 50+ lbs., sit squat, kneel, reach and get up and down from the floor repeatedly

  • Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and peers

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 2 years of behavior management experience
  • Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Behavior Support staff
  • Data collection on new and present students
  • Implement and manage behavior strategies for students
  • Aggregate data on students as assigned
  • Input data into forms, computer programs and reports
  • Complete reports and data entry in a timely manner identified by supervisory direction
  • Provide summaries of student behavior as requested
  • Complete interest surveys on new students
  • Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Update schedule backs
  • Manage Paycor responsibilities
  • Provide orientation and training for new Behavior Support staff
  • Anticipate staff/student schedule changes and absences and make decisions for daily staff assignments
  • Provide annual staff evaluations for Behavior Support staff
  • Initiate disciplinary procedures as appropriate
  • Interview/evaluate potential behavior department employees
  • Attend all meetings as required
  • Administer Mandt trainings
