About The Position

Job Summary: The Real Estate Development Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion. They will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to deliver high-quality healthcare facilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the community's healthcare infrastructure. Primary Tasks: Develop and manage a program of projects inclusive of planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, issue resolution with proper escalation to not lose momentum on any project. Provide leadership with appropriate management of internal and external consultants to ensure compliance with project specs, budget, and schedules. Work with proper end-users to develop project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule, and any related risk. Provides relationship management to ensure the customer is put first and communication always takes priority. Trend, track, and ensure all departmental goals achievement with proper management and escalation of issues promptly. Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, monthly reporting, financial reporting, and performance reporting to ensure adherence to project documents and business planning efforts. Support project development of assigned maintenance capital/development capital planning. Execution of planning support department related strategic goals. Facilitates working relationships with public entities, including the local and government offices, federal officials, and local jurisdictions. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, architecture, or related field of study or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of education
  • PMP certification
  • Strong analytical skills with emphasis on financial and business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to implement organizational change
  • Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively.
  • Strong Time Management Skills
  • Five (5) years' experience in strategic program development, implementation, and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office suite.
  • Experience in working with diverse teams and personalities, including C-suite executives.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Real Estate Development Experience a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare construction is highly advantageous.
  • PMP certification is preferred, demonstrating project management expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and execute project plans.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of various subcontractors and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve construction-related challenges and conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
