About The Position

Position Overview: Dutch Bros is looking for an individual to join our Finance team for the summer Emerging Talent Program. This person will play a central role on our team, focusing on Real Estate Finance. You will bring high analytical and technical skills mainly around Financial Modeling, Excel, and Power BI. Most of the summer will be spent digging into financial statements, and building dynamic financial models, presentations, and running reporting. Ideally, you will bring motivation and willingness to learn and work hard. Our promise to you is to highly improve your Finance/Analytic skills and help you outperform once you join the workforce. For the duration of the program (June 1st - July 31st) housing will be provided, however reliable transportation is needed to and from the program. Additionally, the program is rooted in professional development, full-time employment conversion is not guaranteed.

Requirements

  • Must have a graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
  • Financial Modeling and Automation: Assist with current weekly/monthly financial reporting processes. Help identify areas of improvement or automation within the models.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze key financial and operational metrics to understand performance, trends, and drivers. Ability to translate financial statemen information into actionable insights.
  • NSO Preparedness: Evaluate our current NSO (New Shop Opening) support processes revolving around the delivery of food, packaging, non-foods, equipment and ancillary services. Make process recommendations and establish best practices as Dutch Bros continues to grow our shop count!
  • Certificate and Development Opportunities: Complete Wall Street Prep crash course by the end of the internship.
  • This role is located in Tempe, Arizona.
  • This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Real Estate, or Mathematics is strongly preferred.
  • Must be a senior with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel required.
  • Solid understanding of the three primary financial statements.

  • Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches.
  • Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds
  • Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls.
  • Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
  • Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions.
  • Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
  • Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools.
  • Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
  • Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Power BI or SQL knowledge/Experience a plus.
