About The Position

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our San Diego office is looking for a Backup Receptionist/Support Specialist to join our fast-paced Collections Division. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will provide relief reception coverage during Receptionist breaks, overflow coverage throughout the day, and occasional full-day coverage when the primary Receptionist is absent. It is our mission to provide the highest quality, cost-effective legal services to our clients. Compensation: $21.00-$24.00/hourly + benefits Schedule: Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. The primary responsibilities of this position require that the work be performed at the office full-time. We are not considering remote candidates at this time.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of high-volume, multi-line incoming phone call management
  • Ability to answer over 200 calls per day within 3- 4 rings, quickly determine caller needs, and transfer each one to the appropriate recipient/resource
  • Previous office administrative experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM

  • Rental housing industry experience
  • Excel experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume, multi-line phone by answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls
  • Extensive phone contact with courts, clients, attorneys, vendors, defendants, debtors and potential candidates for employment.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email to obtain necessary information
  • Enter appropriate notes regarding accounts into electronic database
  • Perform additional clerical and administrative duties as needed by the department
