Coordinate resident medical appointments with our van schedule and prepare documentation needed for upcoming appointments. Update family members on upcoming appointments to ensure they are kept in the loop. Greet persons entering facility, determine nature and purpose of visit, and check-in, direct or escort them to specific destinations. Schedule appointment and maintain an updated appointment calendar. Work with van driver, family members, and unit managers to ensure residents are being seen in a timely matter that works with our schedule. Prepare paperwork to send with residents to keep providers on the same page and ensure we are receiving the correct information. This gives our residents the best care possible. This will be 90% of the job. Fast paced environment. Must be able to multitask and have great communication skills. Answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, patients/residents, visitors, and/or employees regarding activities conducted at the facility, location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization. May collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
