About The Position

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Prepares, images and audits all documents in accordance with records management policies. Compiles documents for requested court ordered research, requests from government agencies such as IRS, SSA, Medicaid, etc. Determines and processes any fees to be collected. Utilizes the on-line records system to manage the offsite retention and destruction of active, inactive and permanent records and to facilitate the retrieval and delivery of documents stored offsite. Assists members and employees with research requests. Determines and processes any fees to be collected. Compiles statistical data for management on a month-end basis (regarding fees collected, research time and total requests worked, imaged documents, etc.) Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: 1. Timely image documents for all branches/departments. 2. Ensure secure shredding of all documents in accordance to policies and procedures. 3. Ensure storage boxes are properly prepared and entered into the online system for offsite storage. 4. No exception items from internal audit. 5. Provide, informed, professional timely and accurate service and support to all members and employees.

Requirements

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Normal courtesy in dealing with others is required.
  • Good attention to detail, able to see differences in words and numbers used to classify materials for filing.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with staff and members.
  • Light lifting is required.
