About The Position

- The Recovery Specialist at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive support and guidance to individuals undergoing recovery from behavioral health issues. The role involves working closely with clients to facilitate their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support to achieve their personal recovery goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting.
Proven track record of working with individuals in recovery, preferably within a community-based program.
Strong understanding of recovery principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other professionals.
Ability to assess client needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and strategies.
Competence in using technology for telehealth services and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to understand the individual needs of clients and develop personalized recovery plans.
Provide one-on-one support and counseling to clients, helping them to navigate their recovery process.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure clients receive holistic support.
Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops to promote peer support and shared learning among clients.
