The Recreation Manager leads the creation, development, and delivery of all guest-facing experiences across Dellshire Resort, ensuring every interaction embodies the resort’s promise of luxury, wonder, and connection. This role oversees recreation, entertainment, activities, and cultural programming, curating a dynamic calendar that enhances both family adventures and adult leisure offerings. Through innovative design, hands-on leadership, and cross-departmental collaboration, the Recreation Manager elevates the resort’s brand to create unforgettable moments for every guest.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Recreation, Event Management, or related field required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in luxury hospitality, resort recreation, entertainment, or guest experience management.
  • Proven success in creating and implementing large-scale experiential programs and events.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a creative mindset.
  • Ability to balance operational execution with strategic vision and guest engagement.
  • Budget management, vendor relations, and staff development experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management systems.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all resort activities, entertainment, and experiential programming.
  • Develop and manage the resort’s annual calendar of experiences, including family recreation, holiday events, wellness initiatives, and specialty activations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Operations to integrate programming with brand storytelling and guest engagement strategies.
  • Identify, hire, and train team members, entertainers, and third-party vendors to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.
  • Ensure all programs align with Dellshire Resort’s mission, guest demographics, and service philosophy.
  • Manage departmental budgets, payroll, and expense tracking while ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee recreational areas such as pools, VR adventure zones, family entertainment centers, and seasonal outdoor activities.
  • Monitor guest feedback and adjust programming to enhance satisfaction and participation.
  • Partner with Sales and Events teams to create customized group and corporate experiences.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety, event execution, and guest service excellence.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Experience Curators, Recreation Attendants, and Supervisors.
  • Maintain relationships with local tourism partners, community organizations, and entertainment vendors.
  • Represent the Dellshire brand with a visionary approach that inspires innovation and emotional connection.
