The City of Oxnard's Human Resources Department is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Human Resources Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an HR Analyst, you'll play a key role in employee relations, recruitment, and special projects that make a real impact across the organization. The Human Resources Analyst is a generalist position that will support certain assigned departments within the City. As the first point of contact for those departments, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and a collaborative team member. This individual will have strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while engaging in problem-solving within policy and contract parameters. Human Resources Analysts are expected to perform complex, technical and professional level work requiring a high degree of initiative, discernment, oral and written communication skills, critical thinking/analysis, and the ability to successfully manage and de-escalate adverse situations.
