About The Position

Recruitment & Hiring Coordination · Manage job postings across recruitment platforms such as Indeed and other hiring sites. · Monitor applicant flow daily and ensure timely follow-up with candidates. · Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, including scheduling, confirmations, and applicant communication. · Assist with candidate screening and tracking to ensure hiring timelines are met. · Support hiring managers with recruitment needs, staffing updates, and vacancy tracking. Job Fairs & Community Recruitment · Organize, coordinate, and attend job fairs, hiring events, and recruitment outreach activities. · Maintain recruitment materials such as flyers, brochures, and agency job information packets. · Represent Wolverine Human Services professionally to potential applicants and community partners. · Maintain relationships with local workforce agencies, colleges, and community organizations to support recruitment. Onboarding & New Hire Transition · Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new hires transition smoothly into orientation and training. · Assist with preparing onboarding documentation, forms, and new hire packets. · Coordinate ordering and distribution of equipment such as phones, laptops, and other job-related supplies. · Communicate start dates, orientation schedules, and onboarding expectations with new employees. · Ensure all pre-employment steps are completed (background checks, documentation, etc.) before orientation begins. Administrative & Compliance Support · Maintain accurate hiring records and documentation in employee files and HR systems. · Ensure confidentiality and compliance with agency procedures and regulatory requirements. · Provide support to HR leadership with recruitment reporting and hiring metrics as needed. · Participate/attend and complete all required contractual, licensing, and agency training successfully. · Attend required meetings and assist with special projects as assigned. · Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 2–3 years experience in recruitment, hiring coordination, HR support, or administrative coordination preferred.
  • Experience using hiring platforms such as Indeed, Paycor, or similar applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
