It is imperative that the candidate have the ability to use critical thinking skills & follow all company policies and procedures. The right candidate would also have the ability to work with everyone from attorneys to clients, and always remain professional in any setting whether it be in office, on the phone or through email. A successful individual in this role would be able to remain accountable for their work, and assigned duties as well.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a law firm is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss potential new cases with clients and complete intakes.
  • Screen incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Review cases in our system and assist in connecting clients with outside co-counsel.
  • Handling highly sensitive matters with clients
  • Preparing electronic copies of files and legal correspondence to clients and other firms/insurance carriers.
  • Create & maintain relationships with outside firms for co-counsel matters.
