About The Position

The Regional Sales Director for Aviation Used Serviceable Material is responsible for driving revenue growth across their territory by developing and executing sales strategies, securing new business with airlines, MROs, and lessors, and managing key customer relationships. They oversee the full sales cycle, provide technical and commercial expertise on USM products, collaborate with internal teams to align inventory with market needs, monitor market trends and competitive activity, and deliver accurate forecasting and reporting to support strategic decision‑making.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in aviation aftermarket sales, preferably in USM, MRO services, or parts distribution.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft platforms, component repair processes, and material certification standards (e.g., FAA/EASA).
  • Professional presence with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical B2B environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to travel 60% within the region.

  • Existing network of airline, MRO, and lessor contacts.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Quantum, SAP, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of teardown management, consignment programs, and PBH/CPH structures.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across airlines, MROs, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and post‑sale support.
  • Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitive activity to refine sales tactics.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with key accounts and decision‑makers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored USM solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Commercial & Technical Expertise
  • Maintain a deep understanding of USM products, teardown programs, repair processes, and material certification requirements.
  • Provide customers with informed guidance on material availability, pricing, and lifecycle value.
  • Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and product teams to align inventory with market demand.
  • Performance & Reporting
  • Achieve or exceed regional revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports.
  • Track KPIs and use data‑driven insights to optimize sales performance.
