About The Position

Regional Director Overview : The Regional Director is the senior business leader responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening client partnerships across the Charleston, SC region. This role blends high-impact sales leadership with operational oversight, driving aggressive new‑logo acquisition while expanding and retaining a robust portfolio of existing accounts. Accountable for regional P&L performance, the Regional Director sets the commercial strategy, leads major pursuits, and ensures flawless delivery that fuels long-term client value. This leader influences senior executives, drives cross-functional alignment, and plays a pivotal role in shaping enterprise growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Typically 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction project management, operations, or related fields, with a strong track record of sales leadership and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success in new‑logo acquisition, strategic account expansion, and executive-level client engagement.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience owning P&L, forecasting, and managing complex budgets.
  • Sales & Business Development: Expert in pipeline building, pursuit strategy, negotiation, and closing high-value deals.
  • Client Leadership: Skilled in executive communication, relationship management, and long-term account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Market Expansion: Own the region’s revenue growth strategy, with direct accountability for new clients, pipeline development, and year-over-year sales expansion. Build and execute a regional go‑to‑market plan targeting high-value prospects, emerging sectors, and competitive whitespace. Lead major pursuits, proposal strategies, and executive-level sales presentations to secure new business and expand market penetration. Develop a high-performing sales culture across the region, equipping teams to identify opportunities, cross-sell services, and strengthen client relationships. Maintain deep knowledge of regional market dynamics, competitive activity, and client needs to shape proactive sales strategies.
  • Account Growth & Client Expansion: Serve as the executive sponsor for key accounts, driving multi-year growth strategies and expanding service offerings across the client lifecycle. Reengage dormant accounts, defend at-risk relationships, and proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing portfolios. Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial terms to maximize revenue, margin, and long-term client value. Ensure client satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery excellence and strategic relationship management.
  • Regional Strategy & Business Leadership: Define and execute the strategic vision for the Charleston region, aligning sales, operations, and client experience with corporate objectives. Partner with Sector and Executive Leadership to set long-term growth targets, optimize operational efficiencies, and expand service capabilities. Lead regional initiatives that elevate brand presence, strengthen competitive positioning, and drive sustained market growth.
  • People Leadership & Sales Enablement: Lead and develop cross-functional teams of 10–20 professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and commercial excellence. Partner with HR to recruit top talent, build sales capability, and implement leadership development and succession planning. Coach teams on sales strategy, client engagement, negotiation, and value articulation to strengthen regional commercial performance.
  • Financial Ownership & Performance Management: Own regional P&L, overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting, and financial planning. Drive margin optimization, cost efficiencies, and disciplined financial management across all projects and accounts. Use data analytics, KPIs, and market insights to guide decision-making, improve performance, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence & Scalable Delivery: Ensure operational rigor and delivery excellence that supports revenue growth and strengthens client trust. Champion process optimization, resource planning, and scalable best practices to support a growing regional portfolio. Oversee documentation governance, compliance, and risk management to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Regional Representation & Strategic Influence: Represent the company at regional industry events, executive forums, and community engagements to strengthen brand visibility and attract new business. Build strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, vendors, and business leaders to support market expansion. Act as a key influencer in negotiations, partnerships, and cross-functional initiatives that impact regional and enterprise success.
