About The Position

Article Student Living is hiring a Regional Facilities Manager to join our Facilities team. The Regional Facilities Manager will oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties, ensuring building performance, safety, and resident satisfaction. You will provide leadership to on-site teams, develop preventive maintenance programs, and lead operational efficiency. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on professional who can balance operational oversight with project management and team development. You will report to the VP, Facilities. The Salary range for this position is $95K - $110K plus an annual bonus. You will work remotely and travel at least 60%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Property Management, Hospitality Services, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or construction management with demonstrated maintenance operations expertise.
  • Knowledge of building systems, construction terminology, codes, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications; experience with Entrata.
  • Certifications in EPA Universal and CPO.
  • Experience with vertical and horizontal buildings, including high-rise boiler and chiller systems.
  • Willingness to travel at least 60% annually.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain Article's maintenance standardization program across multiple communities, including safety programs.
  • Monitor property maintenance operations through Entrata dashboards, ensuring compliance with work orders, make-readies, turn management, and purchase orders.
  • Conduct monthly property inspections, prepare follow-up reports, and ensure correction of deficiencies with Maintenance Supervisors.
  • Oversee capital and non-routine improvement projects, supporting Maintenance Supervisors with property-level execution.
  • Train maintenance associates through onboarding and ongoing development programs.
  • Ensure all maintenance staff follow safe working practices and follow regulatory and company standards.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including fire, flood, severe weather, security breaches, and other urgent situations.
