About The Position

The Regional Facilities Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across a multi-site facilities portfolio consisting of office, manufacturing, and distribution/warehouse locations. This role is accountable for consistent service delivery, financial performance, safety compliance, and client satisfaction across all assigned sites. The Regional Facilities Manager ensures standardized execution of integrated facilities management services while developing site leadership teams and driving operational excellence across the region. Region: New York City, Long Island (NY), Newark NJ, and Bristol, Pennsylvania

Requirements

  • 10+ years of facilities management or engineering operations experience.
  • 5+ years in multi-site leadership or regional management.
  • Experience managing office, industrial, and/or distribution environments.
  • Strong financial and operational management experience.
  • Demonstrated client-facing leadership experience.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region (30–50%).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience interpreting KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards.
  • Ability to balance strategic relationship management with operational details.
  • Comfortable working in regulated or GMP-influenced environments (preferred but not required).
  • Proficient in MS Office, CMMS, and reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracts.
  • Manufacturing or distribution facility support experience.
  • CMMS and data-driven performance management experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Professional certifications (CFM, FMP, PMP, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight to multiple facilities sites across New York and Pennsylvania.
  • Direct Site Supervisor, Reliability Planning Analyst (RPA), and maintenance personnel to ensure consistent execution of maintenance and workplace services.
  • Standardize operating procedures, KPIs, and service delivery models across locations.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Support complex operational challenges, escalations, and business continuity planning.
  • Serve as regional escalation point for client leadership.
  • Participate in executive governance meetings and monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
  • Ensure alignment between regional operations and client business objectives.
  • Drive proactive communication and service improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee regional operating budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Monitor labor utilization, overtime, subcontractor spend, and cost efficiency.
  • Approve major expenditures within delegated authority.
  • Identify cost savings, productivity improvements, and value-added initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees.
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability standards.
  • Support recruiting, workforce planning, and succession development.
  • Promote leadership development and consistent management practices across sites.
  • Oversee regional subcontractor performance and contract compliance.
  • Ensure vendor standardization and performance benchmarking.
  • Support sourcing strategies and service provider optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain audit readiness across office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.
  • Lead regional safety initiatives and incident review processes.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to company and client policies.
  • Ensure effective utilization of CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo).
  • Review regional KPIs including PM compliance, backlog, uptime, response times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to drive performance visibility and decision-making.
  • Deliver executive-level operational reporting.
  • Drive reliability-centered maintenance, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Implement best practices across sites.
  • Support transitions, mobilizations, and expansion projects as required.
