About The Position

Simply Set is part of a family-owned wholesale grower that specializes in a wide range of seasonal products, including annuals, perennials and vegetables. We partner with major retailers, supplying high-volume, high-quality plant material, and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a Regional Manager to oversee Team Leads and Merchandisers to provide unique merchandising services for Walmart on behalf of wholesale suppliers through extensive training on “how to” care for live goods (annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs , etc). Maintain great client relationships. Work with upper management to monitor budgets and quality control.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train Team Leads.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of assigned markets while adhering to established budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Merchandising to meet performance goals.
  • Administer employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee 2–3 assigned markets.
  • Interview, hire, and train Team Leads.
  • Monitor and manage budgets across all assigned markets.
  • Conduct a minimum of two one-on-one working visits per month with each Team Lead.
  • Ensure all stores meet Walmart's established merchandising standards.
  • Provide hands-on merchandising support in stores as needed on a daily basis.
  • Review OneDrive photo uploads to ensure images are clear, complete, and usable.
  • Monitor our inventory App to confirm each store's on-hands are accurate and updated.
  • Keep the Director of Merchandising informed of any in-store issues requiring escalation.
  • Actively support and help execute Spring Kickoff meetings.
  • Continuously build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart upper management.
  • Maintain weekly documented communication with Market Managers.
  • Participate in all required weekly Simply Set calls and Walmart conference calls.
  • Saturday hours are required from April through October; holiday work may be required during peak season.
  • All time-off requests must be approved by the Director of Merchandising and Human Resources; refer to the offer letter and employee handbook for blackout periods.
