About The Position

We are seeking a commercially driven Regional Manager to lead the overall performance of multiple branch locations across the New England region. This role carries full accountability for regional P&L performance, sales strategy, talent development, and execution of business outcomes. The Regional Manager is the senior business leader for the region. While this role does not maintain a personal book of business, it is directly responsible for the sales performance, growth trajectory, and margin outcomes of every branch. Success is measured by how well the region performs financially, commercially, and culturally.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or industrial sales.
  • Demonstrated success owning P&L performance and leading multi-site operations.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth through leadership, strategy, and execution (not just personal selling).
  • Strong business acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with industrial products such as bearings, power transmission, and electrical components.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21 preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region.
  • Ability to perform walkthroughs in warehouse, manufacturing, and assembly environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own full regional P&L accountability, including revenue growth, gross margin, operating expenses, inventory performance, and asset utilization.
  • Develop, execute, and adjust the regional business plan to achieve sales, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Hold Branch Managers accountable for delivering results aligned with regional and company objectives.
  • Own the regional sales strategy, including growth priorities, market penetration, key account focus, and sales execution standards.
  • Ensure each branch has a clear, executable sales plan, including targets, pacing, pipeline expectations, and activity discipline.
  • Inspect and coach sales performance across branches, including forecast accuracy, conversion rates, margin discipline, and customer mix.
  • Partner with Branch Managers to identify underperformance early and drive corrective action.
  • Champion a sales-minded culture where growth, accountability, and customer focus are non-negotiable.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers as business leaders, not just operators.
  • Serve as acting Branch Manager when needed to stabilize performance or support transitions.
  • Drive consistent expectations around leadership behaviors, performance management, and execution discipline.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and succession planning for key branch and sales leadership roles.
  • Ensure operational execution (warehouse, purchasing, value-added services) supports customer commitments and sales growth.
  • Drive consistency in service levels, delivery performance, and issue resolution across the region.
  • Maintain strong awareness of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive pressures within the region.
  • Lead post-acquisition integration and performance stabilization for newly acquired branches.
  • Support the opening of new branches, including staffing, operational readiness, and go-to-market execution.
  • Ensure alignment with company-wide initiatives, systems, and culture as the organization scales.
