About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Oversee maintenance and reliability programs for large mobile mining equipment across multiple sites Serve as a subject matter expert and support resource for autonomous hauling system (AHS) operations, maintaining current knowledge of emerging technologies, upgrades, and integration capabilities. Implement best practices for equipment safety, compliance, and performance Collaborate with site teams to optimize fleet utilization, reduce downtime, and implement autonomous hauling systems Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective procurement of parts and services Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment lifecycle management

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of mobile equipment and maintenance practices, working knowledge of SAP, FAIM, or similar data management systems preferred
  • Self-starter with proven ability to teach, lead, and influence teams across multiple locations
  • Skilled in analyzing data in multiple databases to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA-regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
  • Must be willing to travel 70% of the time for this position, including Day trips, overnight trips, and weeklong trips.

Responsibilities
