About The Position

Autism Center of Excellence is hiring an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Virginia Beach clinic.
This full-time position offers a consistent weekday schedule in a structured clinic environment supporting pediatric clients ages 2–14 receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. RBTs work closely with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help children build communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized treatment plans.
This role is ideal for experienced RBTs who value clinical collaboration, stability, and working in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous ABA therapy experience required
• Experience implementing behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs
• Reliable transportation
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate
• Ability to work with pediatric clients ages 2–14
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to pediatric clients
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs
• Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
• Collect and document behavioral data accurately
• Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers
• Maintain timely and professional session documentation
