About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced emergency care team in a large acute care hospital. The RN will deliver high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients, performing rapid assessments and ensuring timely treatment in a dynamic emergency environment. Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New York State
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record system
• Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies and clinical best practices
