About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will support a variety of surgical procedures while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
- Experience in acute care hospital settings
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices
Nice To Haves
- Experience in trauma center hospitals
- Experience assisting in general, orthopedic, neuro, or robotic surgeries
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for surgery
- Assist the surgical team during various procedures
- Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection control protocols
- Monitor patients and respond to changes during procedures
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical standards and policies
