Requirements

  • Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California.
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire, preferred.
  • At least one year experience preferred; supervisory experience in long term care setting preferred.
  • Ventilator experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the Subacute setting.
  • Under the direction of the Nursing Department Leadership Team, formulates a plan of care to meet the identified needs of the patient/family unit using the nursing process.
  • Consistently monitors and evaluates patient outcomes and modifies plan of care and participates in the coordination of continuum of care.
  • Able to responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • As appropriate, communicates with physicians, Nurse Director, and co-workers, about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

  • The current compensation range for this role is $47.20 to $63.45.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
