a team that is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and

gynecology to lactation consulting, we offer a wide range of specialties and

Requirements

• Applicants should have a current Virginia or compact RN license.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire
• Previous OB, L&D and Post Partum experience required

Nice To Haves

• ACLS, PALS & NRP and Handle With Care preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
