Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Release/Deployment Specialist – Senior to support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. Responsibilities: As a Release/Deployment Specialist – Senior you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include: Serves as a lead technical expert in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level release and deployment strategies for complex C2ISR integrated systems. Leads the end-to-end release management process across multiple mission-critical infrastructure components, ensuring seamless and secure integration and deployment across diverse operational environments. Architects and implements advanced CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks for integrated C2ISR solutions, driving efficiency, scalability, and reliability of deployments. Establishes robust release governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with security, operational, and documentation standards for all integrated system rollouts. Provides expert guidance on deployment best practices and risk management, overseeing complex release schedules, managing dependencies, and mitigating potential deployment-related issues. Functions as a technical expert across multiple high-impact release and deployment assignments, guiding junior and journeyman specialists, and contributing to the strategic evolution of C2ISR integration processes. Utilize the following Role Specific Tools: ITIL Change Management tools (ServiceNow Change, Remedy Change); project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet); configuration management databases (CMDB); defect and release tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps); documentation repositories (Confluence, SharePoint); collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack); risk assessment templates; ASI tracking dashboards; performance monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana). ServiceNow and Jira for CMDB. GitLab, VMware Aria Automation and Orchestration, Jenkins, RedHat Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Prometheus, HAProxy, and Grafana for DevSecOps pipeline. SparxEA, Cameo, and Visio for modeling. Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware Tanzu for containerization / orchestration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Release/Deployment Specialist or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level;
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 8 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 8 years’ experience with a PhD. or 14 years' with a HS Diploma/equivalent or 12 years' with AS/AA
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is required
  • DoD 8140 role for WRC: 802; Element: CE; Work Role: IT Project Manager; Proficiency Level: Intermediate / ability to obtain

Nice To Haves

  • DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
