About The Position

The Reliability Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting maintenance reliability and operational uptime across multiple facilities within the network. This role partners closely with site maintenance and operations teams to improve preventative maintenance systems, troubleshoot equipment issues, and standardize maintenance processes across locations. The Reliability Maintenance Engineer will serve as a key technical resource, providing both strategic and hands-on support for critical equipment, maintenance systems, and facility infrastructure. This role requires strong communication skills, technical troubleshooting capability, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across sites.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Automation Technology or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience supporting maintenance operations in a multi-site or complex facility environment

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and facility systems
  • Expert level understanding of Emaint X4 or X5 CMMS platforms
  • Experience with Priva Operator environmental controls and Signify lighting control systems
  • Experience supporting multi-weigh scale systems, Pro Seal or other top seal packaging machines
  • Basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Familiarity with LogCheck systems
  • Ability to travel 30%-50% - scheduled and unscheduled
  • Strong collaboration skills with maintenance teams, operations leaders, and external vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner with maintenance teams across multiple sites to support equipment reliability, preventative maintenance programs, and troubleshooting of system breakdowns.
  • Lead recurring meetings with facility maintenance teams to review maintenance performance, address ongoing issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance during equipment failures to help identify root causes and minimize operational downtime.
  • Support the development of Root Cause Analyses (RCA) following significant downtime events.
  • Maintain consistent communication with site leadership, maintenance teams, and operations teams across the facility network during both normal business hours and off-hours when critical issues arise.
  • Provide clear written communication regarding maintenance updates, scheduling, and technical recommendations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to source parts, materials, and technical support required to maintain facility operations.
  • Serve as the system administrator for the company’s CMMS platform (Emaint X4/X5 preferred).
  • Manage, organize, and optimize preventative maintenance programs across facilities.
  • Support facilities in improving maintenance workflows and standardizing maintenance practices.
  • Maintain system data integrity and drive adoption of best practices within the CMMS platform.
  • Support additional maintenance systems including LogCheck, including editing current systems and supporting implementation at new facilities.
  • Develop scopes of work for service contracts related to critical facility systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to define maintenance and service requirements for specialized equipment.
  • Support leadership in evaluating service agreements to ensure cost-effective and operationally effective contracts.
  • Provide technical support for facility automation systems including Priva Operator, which manages irrigation and climate control at several facilities.
  • Serve as an administrator for Priva systems, supporting both daily operations and system functionality changes as needed.
  • Support the integration and operation of Signify lighting systems and their interface with Priva controls where applicable.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for key equipment used across facilities.
