Rental Coordinator - TEMP Only (3-6 months)
About The Position
We’re hiring a Temporary Rental Coordinator to support our team in Sylmar! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Rental Coordinator rents and sells Caterpillar and allied equipment to maximize revenue while supporting the needs of current and prospective customers—from small tools and contractor supplies to large earthmoving and industrial equipment. Looking for a quick opportunity to get to work? We’re hiring a Temporary Rental Coordinator to join our team for a 3–6 month assignment! You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment supporting both new and existing customers while helping drive rental activity.
Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Help customers rent equipment (from small tools to heavy machinery)
- Answer calls, provide quotes, and process transactions
- Coordinate equipment scheduling, check-in/check-out
- Support daily counter and rental operations
