E.H. Wachs is seeking applications for a talented Rental & Repair Service Technician based out of our solution center location in Blackwood, NJ. In this onsite role you will be responsible for a variety of complex operations involving equipment assembly, component replacement, shipping/receiving and computer related tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through your high-quality work. Your attention to detail, interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with others, and excellent mechanical abilities will make you an invaluable asset to our team. How you will make an impact Perform computer related tasks such as order entry, inventory transactions, and shipping paperwork. Responsible for rental repairs including installing replacement parts to rebuild rental equipment. Required to log equipment in and out of the system based on customer info provided. Able to complete repair estimates for customer-owned equipment. Communicate with the sales team to understand customer requirements. Keep work area clean and perform all duties in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Additional duties and tasks as assigned. What you need to be successful in this role Technical Aptitude: Must possess demonstrated technical aptitude, the ability to interpret drawing and specifications, and be mechanically inclined. Prior experience with equipment assembly and working with portable field machining equipment and various power tools is highly beneficial. Self-Starting Initiative- Ability to learn quickly, be resourceful, work independently with minimal supervision, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Cross Functional Communication - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to establish productive relationships, collaborate, and effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner. Attention to Detail - Be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Adaptability - Must be able to adjust to a changing work environment, competing demands and deadlines, frequent changes, delays and unexpected events Qualifications: HS diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license Computer proficiency with basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
