Replenishment Specialist, Consolidated Service Center

Job Summary This position is responsible for the proper put away and storage of items received at the Memorial Hermann Consolidated Service Center (CSC). In addition, responsible for the replenishment of low unit of measure (LUM) location including carton flow racks and forward picking locations in the pallet racks. Use of material handling equipment (MHE) including reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks, will be required for completing these tasks. These tasks will be accomplished using the warehouse management system (WMS) and utilizing radio frequency (RF) technology including voice command software. This position typically reports to the Order Fulfillment Manager.
Requirements
- High School or GED preferred
- One (1) year of experience in a material handling-related position, preferably in a distribution center environment
- Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
Nice To Haves
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification preferred
- Experience utilizing electric and/or motorized material handling equipment, preferred
- Knowledge and skills utilizing a warehouse management system preferred
Responsibilities
- Puts away products in storage locations once received into inventory.
- Performs daily replenishment activities.
- Utilizes and maintains fork lifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other electric/motorized material handling equipment.
- Follows up and resolves any receiving put away-related issues.
- Works closely with other Consolidated Service Center (CSC) team members to resolve inbound product receipt issues that may arise.
- Enforces and practices safety rules to maintain a safe working environment.
- May be required to work overtime and/or weekends when needed.
