About The Position

The student will contribute to the development of a compiler for distributed quantum computing that enables large quantum circuits to be executed efficiently across multiple networked quantum processors. The project will build on the Tour-de-Groß framework, which provides a systematic method for decomposing global quantum circuits into communication-efficient local subcircuits. The student will help design algorithms for circuit partitioning, entanglement routing, and resource-aware scheduling that minimize inter-node communication and noise overhead. This work will support scalable execution of distributed quantum algorithms and advance software tools for next-generation modular quantum computing architectures.
