About The Position

Perform routine culture, maintenance, and differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) using aseptic mammalian cell culture techniques Execute and optimize iPSC differentiation protocols to generate specific cell lineages and improve efficiency and reproducibility Perform molecular biology experiments, including NGS library preparation and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) sample preparation Conduct characterization of differentiated cells using immunohistochemistry, plate-based assays, and microscopy-based methods Analyze and interpret experimental data and generate clear, reproducible datasets Troubleshoot experiments and assist with protocol optimization under guidance from senior scientists Maintain accurate documentation of experiments in electronic lab notebooks and contribute to SOP development and protocol documentation Present experimental results at internal meetings and contribute to scientific discussions Support general lab operations including inventory management and reagent preparation

Requirements

  • BS or MS in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, stem cell biology, or a related biological field, with 2–4+ years of relevant research or industry experience
  • Experience with human iPSC culture and differentiation strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with NGS technologies, particularly RNA-seq or single-cell RNA-seq sample and library preparation
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, and nucleic acid handling
  • Experience characterizing differentiated cells using immunohistochemistry, plate-based assays, and microscopy-based methods
  • Familiarity with high-throughput assay formats
  • Strong experimental troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, scientific rigor, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present experimental findings
