About The Position

This position is part-time for 30 hours per week and only for 6 months. Purpose To provide assistance with ongoing laboratory experiments related to retinal regeneration. To provide support to lab members in molecular biology and animal husbandry.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in biology, chemistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with molecular biology experiments to include genotyping, immunohistochemistry, histology, in situ hybridization and other techniques commonly utilized in the lab.
• Assist with maintenance of zebrafish lines used for retinal regeneration studies
• Other duties as assigned
