About The Position

The purpose of the Research Program Coordinator position is to coordinate observational studies and intervention trials that aim to improve nutritional status, caregiving practices and health among adults and families with young children.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and three years of responsible level experience with coordinating or administering a program, or Masters degree and one year, or doctoral degree.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a medical or scientific research setting, or comparable technology-oriented business.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss personal topics with families in a compassionate, sensitive manner.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, ability to follow-through, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and willingness to learn other technologies as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree.
  • Registered Dietitian.
  • Spanish speaking.
  • Prior intervention experience with families and young children.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead daily operations for research program, including in person visits with clinical research measurements, child developmental assessments, data management and processing, and trainings with study team members and volunteers
  • Lead participant recruitment, study visit coordination and logistics, tracking and retention
  • Implement study intervention for clinical trials and other studies, collect data, conduct recruitment screening and enrollment, and complete administrative visit duties for study visits
