A Reservations Agent is responsible for booking guest reservations and maintaining required levels of excellence in customer service, productivity, efficiency, and profitability established for the department. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends & holidays
Ability to learn and perform essential job functions accurately, prioritize duties in a high-volume call-center environment and work independently with minimal supervision after the initial training period.
Demonstrates excellence in service quality standards that affect team member and guest satisfaction, responding in a timely and professional manner. A courteous and professional demeanor must prevail when handling upset guests and difficult situations.
Excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written)
Prior hospitality and phone sales experience
Computer experience

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of related experience
Knowledge of Clarity and Microsoft Office systems

Responsibilities

Answers phone in a cordial and professional manner following all departmental guidelines, and books reservations for guests and inform them of services provided at the respective properties.
Mails confirmation & information to guests.
Maintains accurate records and documentation for all reservations.
Research questions related to guest disputes.
Handles Maintenance Fees questions and postings.
Assists with promoting Rental Revenue and processing advance deposits.
Works closely with front desk team members ensuring that reservation procedures are consistent with check-in procedures.
Performing Check-Ins at the Front Desk as necessary.
May be required to do other duties and special projects assigned by Front Office Management.
