The Residence Life Program Assistant – Student Employment & Hiring Operations is responsible for coordinating and maintaining a wide range of administrative and operational functions related to the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, employment maintenance, and separation of student staff within the Department of Housing and Residence Life. This position manages high-volume, cyclical processes with frequently shifting priorities and deadlines, particularly during peak recruitment and transition periods. This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and strong communication skills. The Program Assistant works closely with student staff, professional staff, campus partners, and recruitment and selection committees to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of student employment tasks. Primary systems used include Workday and related university databases, such as Banner, Maxient, StarRez, and erezlife. Housing and Residence Life is an integral part of the University of North Florida and is measured by its ability to support student success through responsive, caring, and effective services.
