About The Position

Why M Physicians? Phalen Family Clinic is a conveniently located neighborhood clinic on Maryland Avenue in St. Paul that offers comprehensive care for your entire family, through all stages of life. We make everyday care for kids and adults easy, from annual checkups, vaccinations, and sports physical to treatment for common illnesses, mental health care, women’s health care, and more. Residency Coordinators work closely with the University of MN Medical School including the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. They will partner with future residents on their path to becoming full-fledged independent providers, as well as partnering with the Residency Program Administrator on process improvement initiatives. What you will do as a Residency Coordinator: Assists in tasks for recruitment, onboarding, orientation, graduation, and other special events as part of the administrative team. Documents pertinent residency program information using designated software and follows up with relevant stakeholders. Provides administrative support to faculty physicians. Coordinate, manage, and monitor program components through designated software including block schedules, assignments, duty hours, conferences, evaluations, curriculum, quarterly reviews, personnel data, procedure logger and program agreements. Input and maintain resident, faculty, and other provider schedules into designated scheduling software ensuring program activities are included on resident and faculty schedules. This position is subject to changing responsibilities based on business needs of the organization and policy & procedure changes while continuously orienting applicable changes/updates to the values of the organization with quality patient care being the top priority. What you will need: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Minimum three years of administrative and secretarial support experience, preferably in a health care or educational setting. Some experience managing multiple computer systems including Cloud-based software. Some experience working with accrediting bodies. Requirements
