We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Electrician to join our Electrical Department. In this role, you will play an important part in providing high-quality electrical services to homeowners while helping maintain the world-class customer experience that BriteBox Electrical is known for. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential settings. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 4 years of residential electrical experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required. State electrical license is a plus.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Strong knowledge of electrical methods, materials, and tools used in residential work
- Understanding of common electrical hazards and safety procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, dependable, and able to meet attendance expectations
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets/iPads, and basic computer systems
- Experience with email and service software (industry platforms may be used)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Occasional climbing and crawling
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
Nice To Haves
- State electrical license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential homes, including wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Perform electrical inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes, electrical standards, and local regulations.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes to plan and complete installations.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, ensuring long-term safety and performance.
- Provide accurate estimates and timelines for electrical projects.
- Work closely with homeowners, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth and efficient project completion.
- Document all work performed, including any repairs, upgrades, and inspections.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and safety practices.
