About The Position

SSP America is seeking a Restaurant Systems & Data Manager to lead our growing team responsible for POS, kiosk, menu, and digital ordering configuration across our U.S. airport restaurant portfolio. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and supporting high-volume restaurant operations. This position manages a team of nine specialists who configure menus, pricing, item data, and digital ordering solutions used daily across 400+ locations. Because the team is early in their careers and highly collaborative, the Manager provides onsite coaching, quality control, and daily partnership with Operations, IT, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant systems, POS configuration, or menu/data operations.
  • Experience supervising or coaching others.
  • Familiarity with POS platforms such as Oracle Micros, Aloha, Simphony.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 9 responsible for POS, kiosk, menu, and restaurant systems configuration.
  • Oversee daily work assignments, coach junior team members, and ensure accuracy of all item, price, and menu updates.
  • Serve as the operational liaison between Technology, Operations, Commercial, and Finance.
  • Manage ticket queues, track progress, and resolve system configuration issues quickly.
  • Drive continuous improvement of tools, documentation, SOPs, and data governance.
  • Lead high-impact or high-risk changes.
  • Communicate timelines, priorities, and impacts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership on upcoming initiatives and systems improvements.
