About The Position

The Sales Associate is a key member of our retail team, supporting store leadership in delivering exceptional brand and guest experiences while driving sales and profitability. They follow prAna marketing and promotional directives to grow our customer base and help maintain strong store standards in a positive, inclusive environment.

Requirements

Retail sales or customer service experience in specialty retail, active, or outdoor apparel a plus.
Holds a passion for the outdoors and some/all of prAna’s key fields of play.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Must be at least 18 years old.
Flexibility and willingness to work an ever-changing schedule with various shift start and end times, based on business needs and trends.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, knowledgeable service in person and through phone or mobile channels, ensuring guests feel welcomed and supported throughout their visit.
Assist with finding merchandise, recommending products, and handling special orders, exchanges, returns, and prAna.com in‑store orders.
Maintain strong product knowledge by participating in training and enthusiastically sharing information about prAna apparel and accessories with guests.
Support daily operational tasks including POS transactions, inventory counts, order processing, stockroom organization, and weekly housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized store.
Follow inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and security procedures to ensure a safe and efficient store environment.
Assist with merchandising, floor resets, and visual directives to elevate the guest experience, and contribute ideas for store and community events that help amplify prAna’s presence in the outdoor world.
