About The Position

The Retail Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient and organized management of inventory and stock movement between our ReStores. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and able to drive sales The Retail Warehouse Coordinator will collaborate closely with store managers to understand their needs, facilitate the transfer of items, and ensure a seamless flow of goods. In addition, the Retail Warehouse Coordinator will drive operational excellence through effective planning, inventory control, delivery coordination, and daily completion of equipment inspections and maintenance. This position primarily works independently and also outside. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. This position is expected to identify opportunities, solve issues, and improve processes without the need for constant direction. This “hands-on” role will span safety and compliance, warehouse management best practices, delivery coordination and routing of schedules, inventory, and strategic projects.

Requirements

  • Valid, unexpired driver license required
  • Previous management experience in warehouse distribution, or replenishment environment or related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong self-starter with keen ability to operate independently
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Proficient in basic computer applications
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Knowledge of tools required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Desire to work with diverse staff and customer base
  • Demonstrates the ability to use commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
  • Convey clear, concise information to others, using verbal or other appropriate communication techniques.
  • Complete formal training plan and assignments as required.
  • Follow safe practices in all work activities to avoid injuries and accidents.
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with store managers daily to assess needs and facilitate safe, efficient, and accurate transfer of goods between stores
  • Unload, check in, and backstock product deliveries with timeliness
  • Operate as a strong self-starter who proactively identifies and addresses issues and drives solutions
  • Ensure that all areas of the warehouse are safe, clean, and organized
  • Make sure pathways are clear as well
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating policies
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, replenishment integrity, and proper product handling
  • Ensure all inventory is fully protected from any and all outside elements
  • Complete pallet runs, appliance recycling runs, and cardboard management
  • Complete truck inspections, forklift inspections, and maintenance
  • Train select individuals on flatbed truck and forklift operation
  • Price bulk product loads
  • Assist with inventory counts
  • Guard against theft and unsafe practices (clutter, tripping hazards, falling objects, etc.)
  • Supervise volunteers as assigned
