About The Position

Are you the person who refuses to lose a deal? Do you thrive in high-stakes conversations where your ability to listen, build trust, and overcome objections makes the difference between a cancellation and a closed sale? At Semper Solaris, we’re looking for a Retention Specialist (Save Desk) who can step in when customers are on the verge of canceling and turn those moments into wins, for the customer and the company. You’ll work exclusively with warm, existing customers who have already signed but are reconsidering. Your job is to understand their concerns, reinforce value, and confidently guide them back to moving forward. Semper Solaris is a privately-owned, financially stable leader in Solar, Battery Storage, Roofing, HVAC, Windows & Doors, and Home Energy Efficiency services, with locations across California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, and beyond. Requirements

  • Two (2)+ years of inside sales, retention, or save desk experience (solar or home services strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to save deals, overcome objections, and close under pressure
  • Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills
  • Confident, persuasive communicator who can control a conversation
  • Resilient mindset, you don’t take “no” at face value
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working in CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound cancellation requests and at-risk customers
  • Identify root concerns (price, timing, product, trust) and overcome objections
  • Rebuild value and confidence in the customer’s decision
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership to resolve issues
  • Negotiate and present solutions that keep deals moving forward
  • Track interactions and outcomes in CRM with strong attention to detail
