Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours. Position Overview This role serves within the Retirement Services operations team, responsible for managing complex recordkeeping tasks and acting as a liaison with external partners such as trustees, custodians, and recordkeeping vendor. The analyst ensures operational accuracy and compliance across all plan activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retirement plan operations or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of defined contribution plan structures, record keeping, and ERISA, IRS regulations, and retirement plan operational compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with external financial institutions and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on the ability to translate complex issues into clear updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills to evaluate unusual or complex issues and determine the best solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple escalations concurrently, prioritizing tasks based on risk, impact, and deadlines.
  • Ability work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex retirement plan operation processes.
  • Manage complex retirement plan recordkeeping operations including transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison with external partners including recordkeepers, custodians, and trustees.
  • Ensure operational compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
  • Support escalations from internal teams and external partners related to operational issues.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of operational procedures and documentation.
