Position Summary As a Revenue Cycle Biller, you will play an integral role in delivering cost effective solutions for our patients by billing Home Infusion and DME claims and invoices to governmental and commercial insurance companies for reimbursement for our patients’ insurance claims. In this role, you will ensure timely and accurate review and claim submission on all patient accounts subject to medical policies, escalate billing issues to leadership, and maintain timely communication with internal departments and external pharmacies. You will interface with insurance companies via web portal to check claim statuses, as well as submit initial or secondary bills to insurance companies, while maintaining quality and productivity requirements. To be successful in this role, you will utilize home infusion software, payer portals, and other systems, in addition to your critical thinking skills, to ensure a high quality of work.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations (including billing, collections, credits, cash, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in billing or collections for Home Infusion or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) claims.
  • 2+ years of experience working with commercial insurance companies and/or governmental payers, including Medicare and Medicaid.
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Previous experience with healthcare billing and reimbursement systems, such as Epic, CPR+, and/or Caretend.
