About The Position
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Operating Room and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for assisting surgeon in lead role until the conclusion of the operative procedure. Traveler may be circulating at times
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing required.
- Current licensure as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- ACLS
- Completion of an RN First Assisting course that conforms to the Core Curriculum set forth by AORN required.
- Five (5) years diversified peri-operative nursing experience with both scrubbing and circulating proficiency required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or American Red Cross required.
