Build what moves America At Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC, our Rolling Stock team leads North America in passenger coaches, locomotives, and light rail production. We combine automation and digital innovation to deliver safer, more reliable, and more sustainable rail systems—while controlling lifecycle costs. What you’ll do Assemble key railcar modules: roofs, cable harnesses, mounted components, electrical racks and panels, plus air supply racks and piping. Bond, position, and align floor panels; install windows and door systems. Fit insulation, sidewall panels, seats, and overhead luggage racks. Route and connect wire harnesses to subassemblies and final termination points. Disassemble, rework, modify, refurbish, and reassemble parts as required. Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, wire/parts lists, sketches, and verbal work instructions to produce electrical or electro-mechanical subassemblies. Apply fine motor skills for small-part, high-precision tasks. Schedule Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. What you’ll bring High school diploma or GED (or equivalent education/experience blend) from manufacturing or related fields such as electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical service. Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal). Blueprint/diagram/parts list literacy preferred. Physical requirements Frequent walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular climbing of stairs/steps/ladders and work on elevated platforms, including overhead tasks. Occasional lifting and moving up to 40 lbs.
