The Route Support Specialist (RSS) core responsibility is to professionally “fill in” for RSR’s on vacation, RSR “call outs,” and open routes as well as support the team. The RSS is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medical linen and clothing and customer service to our customers; addressing account issues concerns and complaints as presented by the customer during on-site visits and ensuring customer satisfaction thru an efficient and professional processing of paperwork and account data/information manner. Essential Functions: Support the service management team by professionally filling in when RSR’s are out or when routes are open When not filling in, Ride with RSR’s on your assigned team to learn their customers Service assigned accounts by delivering clean removing soiled products and addressing customer service issues in an efficient professional and productive manner Enter all service-related data and signatures into assigned Route Assistant (PDA). Manage customer invoices and product inventories in an accurate manner. Efficient on-site account maintenance to ensure minimal lost business and service credits. Communicate daily with supervisor as needed to resolve customer concerns that arose from the day’s activity. Observe and practice corporate policies procedures and safety protocols relating to handling of product and driving.
