About The Position

The Team We are seeking a Summer Intern to support the Safety & Compliance team. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to corporate safety programs, compliance tracking, and administrative processes that support a nationwide organization. The intern will assist with data management, documentation, and coordination activities while learning how safety and health programs operate in a regulated environment. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Safety, Health & Environment, Public Health, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Or a related field
• No prior safety or compliance experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with team members at different levels.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with administrative work, data entry, or coursework involving research or reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reporting, metrics, and data entry related to safety and compliance programs.
• Support maintenance of the Safety & Health portal, including uploading documents, organizing files, and tracking training records.
• Help compile training and certification records for internal and external reporting needs.
• Assist the team with administrative filings, document reviews, and ad‑hoc requests.
• Support incident and near‑miss documentation by organizing information and preparing summaries for review by senior staff.
• Help track employee safety equipment requests and route inquiries to appropriate team members.
• Assist with coordination of safety training logistics, including tracking completion and maintaining rosters.
• Provide general administrative support such as scheduling assistance, meeting notes, and document formatting.
• Participate in team meetings and learning opportunities to gain exposure to safety, compliance, and regulatory concepts.
• Other duties as assigned in support of the Safety & Compliance team.
