The capable candidate for this position needs a sharp attention to detail, they need to be self-motivated and be able to find the nuances in similar situations. Essential job duties include:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college work or completion preferred
  • 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of Compliance management systems, Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring CMV drivers adhere to FMCSA & DOT compliance pre and post hire.
  • Monitoring driver alerts to ensure continued qualification.
  • Reviewing medical situations to determine what follow up actions may be required.
  • Renewing and dispersing DOT required permits.
  • Reviewing and coaching drivers on forward facing camera captured events.
  • Reviewing, coaching and disciplining drivers on DOT HOS violations.
  • Being available for phone calls from our driving partners.
  • Proactively coaching drivers in problem areas.
  • Uploading and organizing personnel files.
  • Training other employees in all the above as assigned.
  • Various projects as needed.
